Today unfortunately started rainy, but the more fun we had, the better the weather....A shower a day keeps the rest of the rain away
Friday, day one of Eurofest 2006
My DeLorean, waiting in the rain
This Delorean belongs to Robert Lamrock
We lined up behind the hotel
Lots of stainless
The street...
...got busier and busier
The Irish loved our presence
Then we’re on our way
With all cars driving through the city center
arriving at the Odyssey Arena
and filling the parking lot
After everyone arrived
Robert gave instructions on the track
and a Merc test-drove the track first
Then it’s Robert Lamrock turn
Almost everyone entered the contest
me too (I’m the DeLorean in the background)
Here’s Ed Uding’s, one of the fastest
And he let others drive as well
Everyone else tried to beat his time.
Meanwhile the crowd kept coming
A factory worker, John Murray is interviewed
And look who came back from the future
It’s Doc Brown himself !!!!
In his converted DeLorean :-)
The Odyssey arena never looked this nice
Again cute names on the plates
Only one woman drove the test
And in my car !!
We’re off for the scenic drive
Through the titanic quarter
Police assisted in stopping other traffic
And of course lots-a-DeLoreans
I take Paul’s picture as we drive by...
And he shoots right back at us
We’re all waiting
alongside the motor-way
A nice spot for more pics
Then we arrive
at Hillsborough castle
Not all DeLoreans
fit onto the driveway
It’s a nice view with all the stainless...
...steel parked all around
No pictures inside
So only outside
Lagan Valley island Centre, Lisburn
There are all kinds of
DeLorean memorabilia
And look who’s here as well !!!!
He took most of his paperwork with him
It was displayed...
...in the hall
in serveral glass casings
And a genuine BTTF pinball machine
Delorean history on the wall
The auction catalogue
and more very rare items
This one’s new
A Red Bull deLorean
Outside the sun begins to shine
All over the stainless in the parking lot
Doors locked and keys in the ignition. Bummer
The DeLorean parts world royalty
And products in the background
A never before seen interview
with John
Me and Ken, he promised me a t-shirt
And the stainless keeps shining
Jan van de Wouw tries his luck
I shake hands, with John and
George Crane
This really is a Kit car
A prototype rear light and a piece of the door mole
And right back to the hotel
