The trip from Venray to Belfast is a 3 hour drive to IJmuiden, A boat trip to Newcastle, again a 3 hour drive Through the UK and Scotland to Stranraer, and the the last boat trip for about 2 hours to belfast
We’re on our way
We’re leaving
Arrival in IJmuiden
More cars are joining us
Lineup for the boat
At Felison Terminal
The King of Scandinavia
Entering the bow....
And there’s not much room to park
Is this the dutch DeLorean club?
Nooo, we are !!!!
The sunset is magnificent at sea
And our cabin is great too.
Not much room, but very comfortable
Breakfast
The cars are all cramped into the autodeck
And they were in good company
That’s a nice license plate
We meet at a parking lot
and drive off for gas
But then Peter crashes into a passing lorry
Fortunately the car can still drive
All that is left of the left front fender
But then we move on ...
driving on the elft hand side
through the UK and Scotland
Just in time for the passage to Belfast
No gullwing doors, no DeLorean
Entering the fast ferry
Here we haven more paking space
The trip just takes too long, right Michiel
4 jet engines power the boat
The cafeteria.....
....only sells very small ice-creams
After the ferry we  meet at a parking lot
DeLoreans everywhere
On our way through Belfast
Our first meeting
We are waiting in line
So are the other dutch visitors
At the meeting there are some historic cars
This is....
Pilot 25
one of the very first DeLoreans
It is in very good shape
it comes with an original factory overall
And also present
A BTTF DeLorean
Very nice details
On the inside
and on the outside
The time display
Of course the book of books (No, not oohlala)
Then we get a welcome speech
from Robert Lamrock
And I meet a factory worker
Whose father was in the plant as well
After that we look around
The Europa hotel
James Espey, Stephen Wynne, Adrian Roth and I
The Deloreans on display  somehow got into..
The 2nd floor ballroom
And we tried to get them out
Everybody helped
The DeLorean had to get up the ramp
but blew the clutch and the car was parked
It is bedtime.....
